This site is the fanlisting for all genres of fanfiction (fiction works created by fans) written on Yuu Watase's creation Fushigi Yuugi. Site name is derived from the first opening theme of the Fushigi Yuugi anime series, Itooshi Hito no Tame Ni or For the Sake of My Beloved. This webpage been online since 15 July 2010. FUSHIGI YUUGI \\ THE SERIES Fushigi Yuugi, also known in other versions as Mysterious Play, Mysterious Game and Curious Play, was originally a manga series by Yuu Watase. She is also the talent behind Ayashi no Ceres and Imadoki, among others. The series is basically of the shoujo (girl) genre. It tells about the adventures of Miaka Yuuki, a cheerful, gluttonous Japanese junior high school student. One day, she and her friend Yui Hongou discover a book called Shi Jin Tenchi Sho or "The Universe of the Four Gods," which transports them into a magical world similar to Ancient China, where many adventures and challenges await them. Fushigi Yuugi was later transposed into a 52-episode anime television series, followed by several Original Anime Videos (OAVs) and vocal dramas that continued the storyline left off in the TV show. There are also text-based novels called Fushigi Yuugi Gaiden, mostly chronicles of events that took place in the lives of the central characters prior to the original series (with the exception of Eikou Den, which continues the OAVs). This layout is entitled All Your Heart as derived from the lyrics that I used on the showcase image. These lines are from the song Itooshi Hito no Tame Ni, translated as For the Sake of My Beloved, the opening theme of the Fushigi Yuugi anime television series. The song was performed by Akemi Satou. The layout was uploaded on 15 July 2010. It was created using Adobe Photoshop 7.0, with a good number of layers and filters, and spliced with Image Ready. HTML coded with Notepad.
